Body Image

To define Body Image would be to say that it is what you see when you look in the mirror. How do you feel about what you see? How you feel personally about your reflection in the mirror is your general body image. When mentally the image that you see is distorted, you would be more likely to develop an eating disorder as they are associated with negative body images. Some of the thoughts that may run through your mind are that you have never been comfortable in your own skin, you have a distorted body image, the feeling that everyone is more attractive than you are, you are anxious, self conscious, and very ashamed of the way that your body looks.
