Even the most exclusive drug rehabs can’t help patients who don’t enroll in them
I was a goner before I enrolled in private drug rehab. That’s hard to admit, even all these years after I last set foot in a Los Angeles drug rehab facility, but it’s the truth. I was a goner, before I got help. An inveterate crack head. I would have used myself to death, if my friends hadn’t convinced me that I needed to get myself in a luxury drug rehab center. That’s what drug rehabs do, I guess: They save lives. If you or someone you care about has a drug problem, drug rehabilitation is the last best chance you’ve got.
Here’s an obvious point: Even the most exclusive drug rehabs can’t help patients who don’t enroll in them. Drug rehab in California or anywhere else has to start with a first step: with drug abuse victims finding the courage to admit that they have a problem, and that they can’t solve it on their own. Again, drug rehabs are and can only be as effective as drug rehab patients let them be. For your own sake, don’t wait any longer to get the ball rolling.
