My Drug Rehabilitation Center saved me from myself
Drug rehabilitation was the end of me. The end of the old me, anyway. Drug rehabilitation left me fundamentally changed, when it was done: helped me remake myself into a person who could face the world and himself without being overwhelmed by the need to use drugs. Drug treatment was the end of the old me and the beginning of the new one. And without it, I wouldn’t have stood a snowball’s chance in hell of getting sober for good.
Drug rehabilitation, by the way, isn’t easy. It wasn’t for me; it won’t be for you. Drug rehabilitation center that works is drug rehabilitation that turns you into a new you…and anyone who’s been through it will tell you that personal transformation never comes cheap. But don’t be discouraged. As it hard as it is, drug rehabilitation is worth it. Drug rehab will change your life, if you’ve got the guts to see it through to its conclusion. In fact, drug rehabilitation will save your life. It saved mine, even as it buried the old me. That’s what drug rehabilitation is all about I guess: that sort of death and rebirth. Don’t wait another day to find that out firsthand.
