Alcoholism treatment is never really finished. Alcoholism, after all, is a remarkably resilient disease, and most “recovered” alcoholics continue to battle cravings throughout their lives. No less importantly, facilities must help clients establish themselves in independent 12 Step support groups, thereby ensuring that they have access to the right resources as they continue their fights against addiction. Without both of these adjuncts, alcoholism treatment can never be successful over the long run. You owe it to yourself to find a professional rehab center that can give you everything you need to get better for good.
